Wade Forster has broken a five-year country drought on the ARIA Australian Singles Chart, reaching #14 with his track, Anytime, Anywhere, Antoinette.
By cracking the Top 20 of the Australian Singles Chart, Forster has become the first homegrown country artist to appear on the chart since September 2021.
Additionally, Anytime, Anywhere, Antoinette marks the highest debut for an Australian country single in more than five years – Keith Urban and Amy Shark’s Love Songs Ain’t For Us previously achieved the feat in March 2021.
Celebrating the milestone, UNIFIED Music Group CEO Jaddan Comerford commented, “This moment isn’t just about celebrating an incredible chart result for Wade; it’s also about celebrating a big win for Aussie country music.
“I am proud of Wade and everything he is achieving as an independent artist. He has a clear vision and is totally authentic. We love being part of this journey."
Away from charts, the single is making waves on streaming services and social media. Anytime, Anywhere, Antoinette has racked up five million streams on Spotify since its release just a few weeks ago, and features on two of the streamer’s major mainstream playlists, Hot Hits Australia and Breaking Hits.

On TikTok, videos using the song have generated over 100 million views. Forster is also an in-demand live performer, with his upcoming show at the prestigious Forum Melbourne sold out in six weeks and his first Sydney show sold out during pre-sale.
All this lines up nicely for the release of Forster’s upcoming album, The Aftermath, set for release on Friday, 14 August.
Speaking about his upcoming tour, where he’ll be joined by special guests The Wet Whistles and Piper Butcher, Forster said, “Australia is my home; it’s a part of who I am. To be able to do a tour like this is something very special, not just for me and my crew but for the fans and everyone who has supported me along the way.”
He also shared insight into his new album’s direction, describing it as a continuation of the story introduced on his 2025 release, Gooseneck Party.
“The Aftermath is the perfect album for the Sunday scaries,” he explained. “After a big night on the town or even a Gooseneck Party. I write a lot of music on my own, so I will probably have another one for you real soon.”
