Aussie country artist Wade Forster has announced a new national headline run, The Aftermath Tour, set to take place this October and November in support of his forthcoming third studio album, The Aftermath.
The tour will see Forster perform five exclusive shows around the country with special guests The Wet Whistles and Piper Butcher. The run begins in Perth before heading to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
The announcement comes alongside confirmation that The Aftermath will be released on Friday 14 August. Fans have also been given a first preview of the record with the release of new single Strange, accompanied by an official music video.
Forster has continued to build momentum as one of Australia’s fastest-rising country acts following a string of sold-out Australian performances in 2025 and extensive touring across the United States since 2024.

The Golden Guitar-winning singer-songwriter has developed a strong following both locally and internationally, with anticipation growing around the new record.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Forster said: “Australia is my home, it’s a part of who I am. To be able to do a tour like this is something very special, not just for me and my crew but for the fans and everyone who have support me along the way.”
He also shared insight into the new album’s direction, describing it as a continuation of the story introduced on his 2025 release Gooseneck Party.
“The Aftermath is the perfect album for the Sunday scaries. After a big night on the town or even a Gooseneck Party. I write a lot of music on my own, so I will probably have another one for you real soon.”
