On the day Live Nation opened its pre-sale to Chris Stapleton’s first-ever Australian and New Zealand tour, the tour promoter added new dates to his forthcoming All-American Roadshow—Goes Down Under run.
The demand for tickets has been extraordinary, with new dates already announced for Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand. The tour takes place in February and March 2025.
Fans have been waiting for a long time to see Stapleton, and those who don’t live near Auckland or don’t live on the East Coast of Australia have likely also bought tickets, increasing already colossal demand.
At the time of writing, Stapleton will perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on 25 and 26 February, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 28 February and 1 March, and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on 4 and 5 March. The singer, songwriter and guitarist then heads to New Zealand, playing at Auckland’s Spark Arena on 7 and 8 March. Special guest Marcus King will join him on all dates.
If today’s pre-sale (and the previous pre-sales with Vodafone and Mastercard) were busy, tomorrow’s general sale will likely also be busy. Fans can purchase tickets to Stapleton’s All-American Roadshow—Goes Down Under tour via the Live Nation website tomorrow (12 April) at 11 am AEST.
Stapleton is touring in support of his latest album, Higher, which further expanded his appeal beyond country. With his raspy, rich vocals and rock ‘n’ roll songs that meet authentic country energy, he’s an artist that’s enjoyed by music listeners of any age.

Higher was produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton, and Chris Stapleton and was released via Mercury Nashville. Higher “showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility with songs that span genres and defy easy categorisation.”
Earlier this year, Stapleton solidified his growing critical acclaim after winning two Grammy Awards, Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song with the same song, White Horse, from Higher.
