Have you ever wanted to choose the tracklist for your favourite artist’s new album?
It seems that Luke Combs is giving his fans that special opportunity by “crowd sourcing” his next album.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) earlier this week, the Where The Wild Things Are singer dropped the hint, “Seriously considering ‘Crowd Sourcing’ my next record. Like just put up a bunch of demos and worktapes to see what y’all like best.”

Now, it seems that Combs has made good on that promise – if the new Instagram account, @lcombs77, which says it’s Luke Combs and followed by the singer, is anything to go by.
So far, the account has shared 14 snippets of unreleased music, with song titles including What Did You Do To Me?, Last Thing She Tried On, Hearts On The Window, Shouldn’t Miss You Here, I Used To Pray, Set The Record Straight, and A Man Was Born.
With thousands of likes and hundreds of comments per post, it seems the interactive fashion Combs is communicating with fans is going down a treat. You can listen to the teaser clips below.
Luke Combs recently released the new single, Back In The Saddle, which we presume will feature on the singer’s upcoming album.
The buzz around Combs arrives after he took some well-earned time away following the release of Fathers & Sons in June 2024. While he stepped back to focus on family, he simultaneously quietly stoked a creative fire.
Back In The Saddle isn’t just a throwaway line; it marks a return to form with an upbeat, guitar-driven tune that positions Combs as more than ready to ride again into the spotlight. With a new album and tour hinted at in early 2026, this single feels like a bold first chapter in his next story.
Fathers & Sons followed the release of Combs’ uber-successful fourth album, Gettin’ Old.
The 18-song album debuted at #2 in Australia and #4 on the US Billboard 200, as well as impressive spots in other countries across the globe. It’s since gone Platinum in the US and Australia, as well as double Platinum in Canada and Gold in New Zealand and the UK.
