Zach Bryan knows how to keep his cool—even when a fan rushes the stage while he’s performing.
On Thursday (25 July), the Something In The Orange singer was performing at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans when a fan rushed the stage in a security scare.
While Bryan seemed taken by surprise by someone new running on the stage, he shook the fan’s hand, Billboard reports. Members of Bryan’s band stepped forward, removing the fan from the stage, who had their hands in the air in delight after shaking hands with his idol.
Addressing the audience after the chaos subsided, Bryan quipped, “I got no fuckin’ idea who that was,” before adding, barely holding back a laugh: “Don’t sneak on this stage, man, but that kid is a legend.” Bryan then continued performing.

Zach Bryan is currently playing in the US on his lengthy Quittin’ Time tour, which began in March and finally comes to an end in December. He’s not just promoting his self-titled album, released last August, but his brand-new LP, The Great American Bar Scene, released earlier this month.

The country music crooner's latest LP, featuring 18 songs and a poem, contains his already-released singles Pink Skies (which shouldn’t have gone to pop radio) and Purple Gas.
While the latter song starred its original songwriter, Noeline Hofmann, as Bryan’s duet partner, the singer was just getting started when it came to collaborators.
The Great American Bar Scene includes special guests John Mayer (on Better Days), John Moreland (Memphis; The Blues), and American hero Bruce Springsteen on Sandpaper.
Bryan described the release as having the vibes of a “depressed and hopeful summer vacation”.
