Lainey Wilson has dropped a surprise festive single, just hours after wrapping up a sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Thursday (2 October).
The Watermelon Moonshine singer put her own spin on the Christmas classic Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, but keeping to the song’s original charm, it’s been released as a duet with the iconic American performer, Bing Crosby.
While Crosby passed away in 1977, his estate teased the duet earlier this week before confirming its release.
“Though the weather outside is frightful… a surprise is delightful,” the Bing Crosby Instagram account teased earlier this week, with a reel of two cowboy hats perched in the snow.
“Be the first to know what Bing has in store this holiday season - sign up for the Bing Bugle and don’t miss the big reveal. Link in bio.”
Upon the duet’s release, the Crosby account shared a snippet of the song and captioned the post, “Christmas is starting early this year! Bing Crosby and @laineywilson have come together for a brand-new duet of ‘Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!’. We hope this duet brings a little extra warmth and cheer to the start of your holiday season.

In December 2024, another duet with Crosby was released, with the legendary singer sharing vocals with BTS member V. Meanwhile, a deluxe edition of his album, Christmas Gems, was released in September.
This isn’t the first time that Wilson has released a festive single. In 2021, she covered the George Strait number, Christmas Cookies.
On Wednesday, 19 November, Wilson will return to Bridgestone Arena to host the 2025 CMA Awards.
Wilson, who’s tied for the most nominations this year alongside Ella Langley and Megan Moroney, will guide what promises to be another star-studded evening as the industry honours its biggest names and moments.
“I grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honour,” she said last month. “I’m humbled that CMA has trusted me with this role, and I can’t wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.”
Next year, Wilson returns to Australia for a massive run of shows. She’s set to headline the Howlin’ Country festival in Newcastle in February, along with a stacked list of arena shows in Australia and New Zealand. You can find out more about the tour here.
