STELLA LEFTY – Summer You Were Mine
It seems like Stella has been stealing spots in the Drop most weeks of late and while we’re a sucker for pre-release drops, her Long Way Home album finally lands today. Summer You Were Mine is a cracking song and worth the top spot this week.
BRANDON FLOWERS – Does It Ever Cross Your Mind?
Gotta admit that my cynic radar was high when I heard that The Killers singer was going country, but this tune has me converted. Far from adding banjo to a Killers record, this is a proper honky-tonk romp that’s worthy of your time.
MELANIE DYER – Daisies From Dirt
Melanie Dyer rarely takes a wrong step and this title track from her upcoming album is a worthy signpost of an album we’re really excited for.
DAN & SHAY FEAT. CODY JOHNSON – The Old Guys
I’ll be honest that any time I see the words Cody Johnson I snap to attention and this focus track from Dan & Shay’s album which landed today is a cracking tune. The harmonies, the soaring chorus– it’s everything you looked forward to when you saw the artists’ names together.
ZACH TOP – Good Girls & Cowgirls

It’s a new Zach Top song, so you know it’s good. It’s his first new tune in a year (not counting his Christmas single) and it’s worth the wait. It’s everything that got the world’s attention on his first three records and we’re looking forward to #4.
MEGHAN PATRICK – Your Daddy’s Smile
Canadian Meghan Patrick is back and Your Daddy’s Smile is another great tune, the second slice off what we presume is a forthcoming record.
ROUTE 33 FEAT. JAMES BLUNDELL – Blue Collar Man
We featured Route 33 a few weeks ago with their John Farnham cover, but we had to give them another guernsey for this one, if only for the superstar pairing with James Blundell. This is what Aussie country is all about. A sing-along chorus that will bounce around your head all weekend.
TYLER BRADEN – Quick Fix
Just a month or two before Tyler Braden hits Australia where he’s playing Savannah In The Round, Deni Ute Muster and more, it’s the perfect time to drop this great new tune. Get it in your playlist ready to sing at the barrier.
SARAH CATANIA – Once You’ve Gone Country
The title track of her new EP, this one’s an accomplished tune that’s got the potential to become an anthem. This is the last song on the record, so there’s five more to check out if you love this one.
LAUREN WATKINS – Daydreams
This is such a gorgeous tune. The subtle acoustic and soaring slide is the perfect understated background to really highlight the lyrics of this total gem.
