Country music’s biggest night will be held in person and aired on television this November, and today, the Country Music Association has announced the nominees for this year’s CMA Awards.
Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson lead the charge with six nominations apiece, followed by Zach Top nominated for five awards, Riley Green and Cody Johnson with four nominations, and Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Kristian Bush, Carson Chamberlain, and Charlie Handsome nominated for three awards.
First-time nominees at this year’s awards include songwriters, producers, and artists such as Johnny Clawson, Jon Decious, Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Dorr, Alexandra Gavillet, Lalo Guzman, Jimmy Harnen, Brandon Lake, Micah Nichols, John Park, Aaron Raitiere, Matt Rovey, Kyle Sturrock, Wales Toney, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
Seeking the evening’s highest honour, CMA Entertainer of the Year, are Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, and Cody Johnson.
Ella Langley has been nominated for Single of the Year and Song of the Year for you look like you love me, plus Female Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year (Don’t Mind If I Do), Music Video of the Year (you look like you love me), and New Artist of the Year.
Fellow Song of the Year nominees include Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Zach Top, and Blake Shelton. Meanwhile, Megan Moroney, Zach Top, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson have been nominated for Album of the Year.

The 59th Annual CMA Awards will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, 19 November. The award ceremony will be broadcast live from 8:00 – 11:00 PM EST on ABC and will air the following day on Hulu.
