The performers’ list for Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony and celebrations next week has grown, with artists including Jason Aldean, up-and-coming star Parker McCollum, and the recently reunited Rascal Flatts on board.
As reported earlier this week, Carrie Underwood was the first big name locked in to perform – she’s set to sing America The Beautiful “shortly before” Trump takes the oath of office on Monday, 20 January, at the US Capitol. The Village People will perform at two of the President-Elect’s inauguration events, and two of Trump’s personal favourite artists, country artist Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio, have already been announced as performers.
ABC News reports that Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Village People, Lee Greenwood, and Liberty University’s Praise Choir will perform at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally on Sunday (19 January).
Carrie Underwood, Greenwood, and Macchio will be featured during Trump’s swearing-in ceremony on Monday, with Macchio set to sing the American national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner.
Underwood said of her appearance when it was reported this week, “I love our country and am honored [sic] to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”
Jason Aldean will perform on Monday evening during the Liberty Ball event. Another yet-to-be-announced special guest will also perform that night. Monday evening is scheduled as a country music night, with the Commander-in-Chief Ball hosting Rascal Flatts and Parker McCollum. Gavin DeGraw will perform at the Starlight Ball on Monday night.

On Instagram, Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox said of the band’s performance at Trump’s inauguration: “I am so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States.
“I got to play it in 2016 and now Rascal Flatts will be performing at the commanders ball and I am so looking forward to it! It will be a night to remember!”
Last year, country stars Jason Isbell, Mickey Guyton, and Maren Morris supported Vice President Kamala Harris, while Jason Aldean, Travis Tritt, and Brian Kelley endorsed Trump.
