The Australian Cowboy, Wade Forster, is continuing his global domination.

His upcoming tour of the US – his third this year – is selling quickly, and now he can add another milestone to his list of achievements. Next month, Forster will make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry.

Performing at the historic venue on Wednesday, 30 September, at 7 pm, Forster said of the news on social media, “It’s every kid’s dream to make it to a historic venue like this, no matter what you do. I still can’t believe I get to tell everyone back home in my little outback town in Australia that I’m playing the @opry.”

The news of Forster’s Grand Ole Opry debut arrives just days after the release of his new album, The Aftermath, and ahead of his rapidly selling Australian headline tour in October and November.

“My new album The Aftermath is here,” Forster wrote on Instagram on Friday (14 August). “You can think of this record as a sequel to last year’s Gooseneck Party.”

He continued, “It picks up where that record left off… the party’s over, and now we’re left to face the Sunday scaries. We even shot the covers for both records on the same weekend at the Charters Towers Rodeo back in 2025.

“Like Gooseneck Party, these songs are a collection of stories I’ve picked up along the rodeo circuit, stories from home and stories of my people.”

Additionally, The Aftermath has been pressed on vinyl – sure to excite fans and make a dent on the vinyl charts in Australia.

Forster concluded, “I really hope you enjoy this record as much as I enjoyed making it. Thanks for listening, coming to the shows and continuing to back me. I’m going to make you proud.”

In Australia, Forster’s Aftermath Tour has been met with extraordinary demand. His Melbourne show at the Forum sold out in six weeks, while his performance at Sydney’s Metro Theatre sold out in just 15 minutes. All other tour dates are selling fast.

With special guests The Wet Whistles and Piper Butcher joining him on tour, Forster said of the in-demand run, “Australia is my home, it’s a part of who I am. To be able to do a tour like this is something very special, not just for me and my crew but for the fans and everyone who have support me along the way.”

Tickets for his Australian tour are now available on the Live Nation Australia website.
