More Dates Added To Max McNown's Debut Australian Tour

Demand to see Max McNown in Australia has been extraordinary, with new dates added for Brisbane and Melbourne today.

Tour promoters Frontier Touring made the announcement as yesterday’s pre-sale was packed with phenomenal demand for tickets. McNown’s debut Australian tour was only announced on Tuesday (14 January).

With the extra dates announced, the American singer will now stop at the Powerstation, Auckland, New Zealand, on Sunday, 4 May, before heading to Australia for shows at The Tivoli, Brisbane, on Tuesday, 6 May and Wednesday, 7 May (just added), the Roundhouse, Sydney on Sunday 11 May before ending the run at Forum, Melbourne on Tuesday 13 May and Wednesday 14 May (just added).

Max McNown will be touring Australia for the first time this May. Tickets for all shows—including the newly announced Melbourne and Brisbane dates—will be available via the Frontier Touring website from 12 pm local time today.

From busking on a pier in Southern California to going viral on TikTok with his live videos to having sold-out shows at iconic US venues at the House of Blues, Troubadour and August Hall, McNown is set to release his second album, Night Diving, on Friday, 24 January, via Fugitive Recordings/The Orchard.

This tour is named after McNown’s song A Lot More Free, from his debut album Wandering, which he released just last year.
