Max McNown Announces Debut Australian Tour Dates

One of country music’s most exciting newcomers, Max McNown, is about to make his fans Down Under very happy: he’s just announced his debut Australian tour dates.

Bringing his A Lot More Free Tour to Australia and New Zealand this May, the Nashville-based singer and songwriter will stop at Auckland’s Powerstation on Sunday, 4 May, before heading to Australia for dates at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Tuesday, 6 May, Sydney’s Roundhouse on Sunday, 11 May, and Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday, 13 May.

With so much demand for country music in Australia—fans are hungry for Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Sam Barber, selling out shows left, right and centre—we won’t be surprised to see tickets sell fast for this one.

Last year, McNown was named Billboard’s Country Rookie of the Month and starred as CMT’s Next Up Now feature artist. He went on to release his debut album, Wandering, last April, which featured the breakout track and his tour’s namesake, A Lot More Free.
