Mack Geiger ProfileAustralian singer-songwriter and Nashville/Columbia Records signee Mack Geiger continues his rapid ascent, announcing his debut album is arriving before we know it.
Geiger’s album, Dying In This House, arrives next Friday, 6 November. The 12-track collection features eight songs written solely by the Queensland-born singer-songwriter and guitarist, including the hit single String By and the title track.
Alongside the album announcement, Geiger has unveiled the new single How It Ends, which he co-wrote with hit songwriters Rodney Clawson, Johnny Clawson, and Will Bundy. In addition to String By and the title track, Geiger also wrote songs like the sweet Nothing Like Grandma, which he dedicated to his great-grandmother earlier this year.
“Dying In This House channels a broken man’s walk through loneliness, heartache, denial, but also glimmers of hope,” Geiger shared in a statement. He continued, “I've always been drawn to songs which painted pictures. I feel like this album does that.
“Furthermore, songs that explore brokenness, because despite our constant endeavour to achieve outside flawlessness, each one of us experience battles that push us further than we can bend. Amidst the ballads are moments of remembrance of who the character is.
“Grounding that sparks motivation and pride to push forward. Opportunity to dust yourself off and just back in the ring. A collage of work with Keith Stegall and Jared Adlam bringing 12 tracks onto a canvas. Dying In This House. Country music.”

The album announcement comes as Geiger’s international star continues to rise. His breakout single, String By, has amassed more than 104.5 million global streams and made waves on Spotify and the Billboard Hot Country chart, and it has also appeared on the Global Country Shazam chart. Billboard recently named the singer its September Up & Comer.
Geiger released his debut EP, Walk A Straight Line, in May. The six-song collection introduced him to the world, took him to CMA Fest, launched his first-ever U.S. headline tour, and earned a standing ovation at the Grand Ole Opry.
In March 2027, he returns home to Australia to open shows for Brooks & Dunn. Then, he’ll appear at Stagecoach Festival.
