Brooks & Dunn Announce 2027 CMC Rocks Sideshows

It's been a long time between drinks for the great Brooks & Dunn in Australia, but as they return to headline CMC Rocks next year, they'll be sticking around for a pair of headline dates.

Fresh off the back of announcing their headline appearance on the 2027 CMC Rocks line-up, country icons Brooks & Dunn have announced a pair of headline dates while in the country.

Announced today, Brooks & Dunn will attempt to make up for lost time by increasing their time on-ground with the announcement of headline dates at Sydney's Afterpay Arena on Wednesday, March 24th and Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, March 27th.

At both dates, they'll be joined by fellow CMC Rocks headliner Ashley McBryde, and rising Australian sensation Mack Geiger.

Tickets to Brooks & Dunn's upcoming headline dates go on sale from 10am local time on Friday, October 9th, with a Frontier presale launching at 9am local time on Thursday, October 8th.

A musical duo comprising Kik Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, Brooks & Dunn came together at the end of the '80s and released their debut album and single – both named Brand New Man – in 1991. Launching things with a run of four consecutive chart toppers on the US Country chart, the duo helped reignite a love affair with line dancing thanks to Boot Scootin' Boogie, and helped cement them as icons of the genre.

The pair would split in 2010, making their first trip to Australia the year prior. Thankfully, they reunited in 2014, and have remained a touring entity, with new albums Reboot and Reboot II arriving in 2019 and 2024, respectively.

Additionally, they're one of the most awarded groups in country music history, having made history as the winners of the most Country Music Association Awards – including the Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be handed out the 2026 Awards next month.

Last month, the pair were announced on the line-up for the special 20th anniversary edition of the CMC Rocks festival.

Serving as a headline act alongside McBryde and Eric Church, the impressive line-up boasts a strong selection of local and international names, including Turnpike Troubadours, Rachael Fahim, Kameron Marlowe, and many more.
