Luke Combs is giving away the final two tickets for his 16 August show in Sydney, but there’s a catch: you have to dress like the Love You Anyway singer to win.

Sony Music Australia is hosting the “Luke-A-Likes” competition which takes place from 6 pm until 9 pm at Surly’s American Tavern in Surry Hills, New South Wales. The best-dressed punters win the final two Luke Combs tickets in the country.

Throughout the night, the Sony Music Australia team will quietly shortlist eight finalists, and the fans will choose the winner. The night’s shenanigans will be filmed throughout the night, so make sure you’re in your best Luke Combs attire and showing off your coolest dance moves.

The competition (and attendance) is for people over 18, with food and drinks provided at the venue. Entrance will only be granted to those who dress up – no spectators who don’t put effort towards costuming.

You can register HERE to attend – spots are free and extremely limited.

Combs is currently on his world tour. He will play back-to-back shows at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Friday, 11 and Saturday, 12 August, before heading to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday, 16 and Thursday, 17 August, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 August before making debut stops at Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Wednesday, 23 August and Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 26 August.

US country star Cody Johnson and Australian singer-songwriter Lane Pittman will join Combs on all Australian and New Zealand dates.

The Sydney doppelganger competition follows a recent instance at Busch Stadium in St Louis, Missouri, that had fans convinced a Luke-A-Like was the actual singer walking through the crowd during support act Lainey Wilson’s set.

Combs’ current single, Fast Car – a cover of Tracy Chapman’s 1988 folk-rock ballad – recently peaked at #1 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Airplay Chart. It also currently sits at #3 on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart.

Combs said, “I love that song so much, and I think it’s such a great song that it deserves to be heard by a whole generation of people that haven’t heard it before, and so to be able to, like, have an opportunity to do that, especially with a song that’s meant so much to me and my love of music from as far back as I can remember is super unique.”

His upcoming Australian tour is just the latest milestone in an already monumental career for Combs, whose recent albums, Growin’ Up and Getting’ Old, both peaked at #2 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart.
