Jelly RollEarlier this week, shocking reports surfaced that Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo had broken up after ten years of marriage. But despite that news, Bunnie Xo has opened up about the future for the pair, revealing that they’re “still having a baby together.”
The couple reportedly filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, on Monday, 18 May, with the court documents sighted by publications such as TMZ and People.
Sources also claimed the decision was “mutual”, with TMZ stating that the couple had not gone public with the news because it was a “private family matter”.
On Thursday (18 June), Bunnie Xo uploaded a new episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast titled “The Divorce.”
In it, she explained that she and Jelly had ended their relationship amicably and that they remain the “most unconventional couple” people can think of. However, despite earlier reports, she also indicated that the decision “wasn’t mutual.”

“We’re literally settling our divorce in like... We’ve done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks?” she said, per People, before discussing the pair’s future plans: “We’re still having a baby together.”
She continued, “So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered. We’re going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn’t what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other.”
Jelly Roll is the father of two children, Bailey Ann, born in 2008, and Noah Buddy, born in 2016. Bunnie Xo has had a central role in co-parenting them with the famous country singer. However, she’s also been open about the gruelling process of IVF and how that’s impacted her marriage.
Discussing the pair’s plans to have a baby together further, Bunnie added, “I’m so excited to live my life through a child’s eyes, which is why this baby journey, I’m not going to let it break me, and I’m not going to deter it.
“And J has been so fucking great about us still having a baby together, and he wants the same thing. And we’re just going to raise little Nugget as one big happy family.”
