What Country Music Means To Groundwater CMF Artists: Part 2

As you saw in part one of Countrytown’s series, What Country Music Means To Groundwater CMF Artists, country music means a lot to the local and international music community.

The festival, which will soon welcome over 50 artists, including homegrown heroes Kasey Chambers, Shannon Noll and Adam Brand, as well as Canada’s Jess Moskaluke and Tim Hicks, is unlike any other event on the Australian music festival calendar, according to Brand.

The Australian country music star said, “There’s nothing like Groundwater! It’s something pretty unique to be blasting out country music in the middle of the holiday strip right on the beach... oh and did I mention it’s totally free?! Does it get any better?”

Yep, the Groundwater Country Music Festival is right next to a beach, bringing lively music and community to the Gold Coast.

Groundwater CMF will take place from this Friday (18 October) to Sunday (20 October), returning to its home of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.

Through sharing stories, songs, and stages, we are continually strengthening friendships that ring true with honesty, integrity, loyalty, and passion. A real sense of family is created not just with fellow artists but also with returning fans who turn up full of support time and time again.
