Troy Cassar-Daley To Headline Kingaroy BaconFest 2025

With just weeks to go until the launch of the 2025 edition of the Kingaroy BaconFest, Troy Cassar-Daley has been named at the main stage headliner.

This August is shaping up to be a sizzler up in Queensland, with country music icon Troy Cassar-Daley being announced as the main stage headliner for the annual wonder that is the Kingaroy BaconFest.

Taking place across Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th, the Kingaroy BaconFest is a celebration for lovers of fine foods and fine tunes, with the event this week revealing the headline act for this year’s entertainment program.

Taking over the main stage on Saturday night, 45-time Golden Guitar-winner Cassar-Daley will be on hand to headline the event, which wraps up a day full of stellar music, dedicated to showcasing homegrown talent and rising stars.

The eclectic line up features a number of acclaimed named, including the likes of six-time Golden Guitar-winner Dean Perrett, 2024 Thornton Young Award winner Paul Ricketts, and emerging singer-songwriter Amber Goldsmith, who will share a special evening support set after being personally selected by Cassar-Daley.

It all kicks off on the evening of August 15th with food trucks, market stalls, and the launch of the Australian Barbecue Alliance SunPork Smoke Off.

It all continues into the next morning with the big bacon breakfast, before eating competitions, cooking demonstrations, and other events take place. All the while, a momentous music, dance, and other presentations will be taking place across the main stage.

Cassar-Daley’s appearance on the line up comes just weeks after he was announced as the first cab off the rank for the 2026 edition of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

A legend of the genre and a familiar face for all and sundry, the multiple ARIA Award-winner is in fine form off the back of the release of 2024’s Between The Fires, his 14th studio album.
