We’re just days away from seeing Megan Moroney in Australia again, here’s a list of the songs we want to see her perform live across the East Coast.

It’s finally here. The Emo Cowgirl herself will be touching back down on Australian soil at any moment and the anticipation is high.
Megan Moroney made her Australian debut in 2024 at CMC Rocks and was an instant crowd favourite for the girlies, and the guys. Her sets were nothing short of iconic and the demand for her return was instant.
To celebrate her upcoming shows we’ve put together a short list of songs we are dying to hear Moroney play live. I mean ideally we want them all, but here’s our top 10 picks!
This one’s for the girls. All that time prepping outfits, discussing details over texts and learning every lyric in the car, it hits right in the heart. If a core memory could be wrapped up into a song, we’re pretty sure this would be it. “God bless the girls, and thank god for mine” feels more like a mission statement than a lyric.

Country music is famous for its storytelling, and storytelling doesn’t get much better than Hair Salon. This one helped put Moroney on the map for so many and was the lead single from her EP Pistol Made of Roses. It’s drenched in small town drama and leaves us wanting more and more.
Bless Your Heart is the ultimate southern tinged take down track. The sass and sharp wit seeps though from the very first note to the last. It’s empowerment, it’s closure and it’s everything you didn’t know you needed in a country song. Moroney has nailed this one and considering it wasn’t out last time she was here, we need to hear it on this tour.
Moroney’s iconic Toby Keith cover is a need, not a want for these upcoming Australian shows. It was a bold move but a brilliant one. Moroney takes this classic Keith hit and makes it her own all with a cheeky signature wink. Moroney has managed to take this song and make it feel brand new all over again. We’re obsessed and quite frankly a non-negotiable for the setlist.
Break It Right Back is classic Moroney. It’s catchy, maybe a little messy but mostly, so relatable. It hits harder live, especially when you’re singing along with a thousand other people who have all been built up by someone just to be brought right back down again. We think this will be a little like a group therapy session and we’re here for it.
6 Months Later was our first taste of MM3 and what a treat it has been. The storytelling gut punch 6ML left fans with was intense. Realising things maybe didn’t turn out how you thought they would is a universal experience we’ve all had. Before it was even released, fans had learnt all the words from teasers online and let me set you the scene… Australian fans will no doubt take this to the next level.
Obviously. We have no doubt Tennessee Orange will be played on this tour because of course it was the one that made Moroney a household name in country music. It’s fun, dreamy, nostalgic and is always pure magic to witness live. There’s nothing quite like a whole crowd singing the chorus and we just know every person will be doing just that.
This was Moroney’s first ever single. Released back in 2021, and after a bit of a resurgence on TikTok, Wonder is now her fifth most streamed song on Spotify. It’s both delicate and powerful and once the music begins it sets off a wave of excitement from the crowd. That raw excitement will get everyone psyched for what’s to come.
Indifferent is the ultimate cool girl “Don’t give a -“ moment that fans have turned into a scream-along anthem. It’s cathartic, loud and quickly becoming a set list staple. We’re pretty sure seeing this song live would fix all of our problems in 2 minutes and 55 seconds.
Moroney is set to drop a brand new single on Friday called Beautiful Things and it would just be criminal to not play it live in Australia. Only having performed it a couple of times live prior to this visit, it could be one of those special “I was there when” moments every fan lives for.
