Zac & George

Each week, the team at Countrytown finds the best new country songs to add to our weekly playlist, The Country Drop. Here's our picks released this week, October 2, 2026.

Sheppard, Amber Lawrence, Casey Barnes, and others recap huge milestones and preview their upcoming Deni Ute Muster sets in an exclusive check-in with Countrytown.

Zac & George have scored two nominations for their songs 'Call It A Day' and 'Some Thing Never Change' with James Johnston.

Event organisers are expecting a record number of attendees at this year's Tara Festival of Culture and Camel Races.

The inaugural Lasso Country Music Festival will head to Logan City.

Meanwhile, Kaylee Bell will be flying the New Zealand flag.

Every week, ABC Country's ‘Grass Roots’ program shines a light on the best independently released Australian country content.
