Logan City has its own country music festival on the horizon, with the announcement of Lasso Country Music Festival taking place at the Distillery Road Market in Eagleby.
The festival is set to take place on Saturday July 6 and plays host to a lineup of Zac & George, The Buckleys, and Queensland’s very own 2024 Toyota Star Maker Wade Forster. Australian Idol finalist Dylan Wright will also take to the stage, alongside Sons of Atticus, Brisbane’s Briana Dinsdale, Josie, Tyla Rodrigues and Good Will Remedy.
The festival boasts two stages, with all the above sharing the first stage, while on the second stage you can expect to see acts such as Logan’s own Ruby Jane and up-and-comer Mac Geiger, both of whom played the Tamworth Country Music Festival earlier in the year.
Tickets are on sale now, available at Oztix, with pricing starting at $50 for adults and $30 for children.
The festival is a result of a grant from Logan Council’s Community Events Funding, with Goldspur Entertainment being the recipient to increase live events hosted in the region.
“We are incredibly excited to unveil the Lasso Country Music Festival and showcase the best of modern country music in Logan City," announced Goldspur manager Ashlyn Dinsdale, the sister and bassist for Briana Dinsdale.
