American country singer-songwriter Zach Top recently told fans he’d give them refunds for what he believed was a sub-par performance.
The Bad Luck singer was performing at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson for the Dixie National Rodeo when he told fans that he was feeling under the weather and wasn’t pleased with his performance.
Due to being unhappy with what he was delivering for the audience, Top did what he thought was right: offer fans refunds. While he performed a full set, he still felt he owed the fans more.
In video footage filmed from the concert, Top can be heard saying: “We’re gonna get it sorted out, and we’re gonna get you your money back for tonight’s show because this is not the kind of show I want to put on.”
He continued, “This is all I’ve ever wanted to do ever since I was a little kid, and y’all are the reason I get to do this. So, when I can’t do that to one hundred per cent of my ability, it ain’t good enough for me.”

In January, Top released his latest single, I Never Lie. He shared the song after releasing his critically acclaimed debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, last year.
This March, Top will head to Australia, perform at the Queensland-based country music festival, CMC Rocks, and open for headliner Jon Pardi on his sideshows at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
Zach Top has made a name for himself for releasing music that embodies the spirit of 90’s country legends. Shaped by his upbringing in Sunnyside, WA, country music has always been a part of his life.
After spending his teenage years and early twenties honing his craft in bluegrass bands and moving to Nashville, Top has already opened for the likes of Lainey Wilson and Luke Bryan and, later this year, will support Alan Jackson on tour.
