Just two months after Morgan Wallen ordered a punter who hauled a beer at him to be escorted from his second show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Zach Bryan has kicked out a concertgoer who tried to take his guitar during his show in Albany on May 26.

In a TikTok video shared by a fan, Bryan walks through the crowd on his Burn, Burn, Burn tour before the show’s encore. An unidentified woman then grabs his guitar and refuses to let go for a brief moment as Bryan asks his security team to “get her out of here.”

Bryan took to Twitter in response to the incident.

“I give J-45’s out at a lot of concerts,” Bryan wrote. “The one in my hands when this happened was mine, my sweet ol’ gal, we’ve been everywhere together and written every song in the last few years together. Took it personal, but nothing against whoever wound up getting kicked out. I don’t mind people being respectful and trying to touch me or the guitar, but if you try to rip it out of my hands, I promise I’ll rip you out of whatever venue we’re at, respectfully, of course.”

Bryan often gifts a signed version of the acoustic Gibson J-45 guitar, which roughly costs between $5000-$6500 AUD, to a random audience member during his concerts.

Moral of the story, don’t f with country music artists.

In other news, Bryan confirmed his recent split from girlfriend Debra Peifer on Twitter.

He wrote, “For transparency and with respect I am letting everyone know Debra and me went our separate ways about a week and a half ago. Things are mutual between us, we’re leaving with plenty memories and good times. I beg so much that everyone respects her and my privacy through a hard time.”

Additionally, Bryan recently went mainstream with Something In The Orange peaking at #15 on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart – where you’ll find the likes of Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and more. It also reached #20 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Airplay Chart.

"Something In the Orange was a weird song because everyone thinks it was over some deep, dark thing," Bryan told Today's Country Radio with Kelleigh Bannen. "And it was just me in a cabin in Wisconsin. And I was like, I thought about the word orange, and I was watching the sunset, and I was like, 'Oh, that's a cool story to tell in a song,' you know?"
