A few months ago, Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford thrilled heavy metal and country music fans alike when he sang Jolene arm in arm with Dolly Parton at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Relive the performance below.

The unlikely pair were inducted in last year’s ceremony alongside Eurythmics, Duran Duran, Eminem, Pat Benatar, Carly Simon, Lionel Richie and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.

Dolly Parton questioned getting inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame - she didn't feel like a rock star.

However, she's amending that now and possibly becoming the queen of country and rock and roll music.

In a recent appearance on the talk show, The View, the 9 To 5 singer didn't only reveal her mixes to make great cornbread, biscuits, and brownies; she shared some of the names appearing on her upcoming, aptly titled Rock Star album.

"If I’m going to be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, I better do something to earn it," she told the panel on The View. "So I’m doing a rock ‘n’ roll album and I’m having a lot of the rock stars that I met that night be on the album with me."

The music superstar has unveiled some big names who will appear on the album: Sir Paul McCartney, P!nk, John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, and Brandi Carlile.

She also said that P!nk and Brandi Carlile will accompany her on a cover of the Rolling Stones classic, Satisfaction; Nicks, Fogerty, and vocalists Steve Perry (Journey), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), and Cher are also appearing on unannounced tracks.

In a new interview on Total Rock and transcribed by Blabbermouth, Rob Halford revealed that Parton’s manager, Danny Nozell approached him about contributing to the country music superstar’s rock album.

“After the show, her manager came up to me, Danny, and he goes, 'She's doing a project, like a rock album. Would you be interested?' I said, 'Yeah. Here's my number.' And then, out of the blue, like four weeks later, and suddenly [there's] ideas for some more work,” Halford said.

The Painkiller vocalist continued, “Even though I'll always be a metalhead till the day I day, I've always felt that you should explore anything that comes your way. Don't just say 'no', 'cause you don't know what you've lost. So that was just a real thrill.

“And to see the picture — there's one very great picture of me and her that went viral, 'cause it just seemed so odd. Not odd in a funny way. What it did was it reinforced this thing about, it doesn't matter what kind of music you're into, what kind of style of music you play or you love or whatever, we're all connected.”

Here's hoping he makes an appearance on Dolly's album.
