Wade Forster has done a good deed ahead of Christmas. He checked in on a fan who had a seizure at one of his recent shows, and promised to send her free merchandise after she missed some of the concert.
Forster – this year’s Toyota Star Maker winner and rodeo star – shared the story and filmed his interaction with the fan on his social media.
Halfway through Forster’s show on Friday (13 December), a woman had a seizure and was safely escorted from the venue. Luckily, she’s recovering well, and Forster remained in touch with her partner to ensure she was okay.
“I’m going to FaceTime her, you know. She didn’t get to see a show she paid money for, and I think I owe her a bit,” Forster said, adding that he plans to send her free merchandise – he’ll even sign it.
During the call with his fan, Forster said that her health scare “scared the living hell” out of him, and he’s just glad she’s recovering.
Responding to Forster’s video, the fan wrote that the singer made her entire year, thanked him, and said that his “kindness and generosity will not be forgotten.”

Last week, it was announced that Forster would be heading to Austin for SXSW – the sole Australian country artist to feature on the second artist announcement.
Wade Forster is currently touring Australia on his Drifter tour. The tour follows the release of his singles Chemistry and Honky Tonk Bulldoggin’ Man.
Earlier this year, Forster was nominated for his first-ever Golden Guitar Award, with the results to be revealed in early 2025. He’s also set to open for Cody Johnson in Australia next year. In August, Forster was crowned the Mount Isa Rodeo Local All-Round Cowboy for 2024.
