Australian artist Y.O.G.A. (You’re Only Great Always) is heading back to the Californian desert after being announced on the lineup for the iconic Stagecoach Festival for the second time. He will perform on Diplo’s Honky Tonk stage in April, delivering his signature fusion of country and electronic dance music to one of the world’s biggest country crowds.

The booking comes as Y.O.G.A. (the country-leaning project of Reuben Styles) continues a 21-date tour across Australia and New Zealand. The tour has drawn multigenerational audiences, many of whom have embraced his official remix of the Slim Dusty classic Duncan, which has become a standout moment in his live sets.

On returning to Stagecoach, Styles said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be playing Stagecoach for a second time - to be asked once could be seen as lucky, but to be asked to come back and do it again means we must be on to a good thing. I’m going to bring heaps of live elements to the show, like guest vocalists, live instruments and dancers. You know we’ll go way over the top for this one, as we should!”

Y.O.G.A.’s profile has grown rapidly over the past two years, driven by viral remixes including 9 to 5, Duncan, and a reworked version of Achy Breaky Heart featuring Adam Harvey. The latter has found unexpected international traction.

“I've been working so hard over the last couple years and working with some of the most talented country artists in the industry. It’s so cool seeing the new version of Achy Breaky Heart with Adam Harvey absolutely taking off in countries we wouldn’t have even dreamed of like Brazil - it’s crazy. And getting to make music with the likes of Aussie legend Taylor Moss and Middy Nelson from Nashville… it's bloody beautiful.”

Fresh from a performance at Sunburnt Country Festival in Toowoomba alongside artists including Jason Aldean and Corey Kent, Styles said the scale of his current run has taken him to new corners of Australia, despite more than 15 years of touring with Peking Duk.

“It’s so cool seeing parts of Australia that I haven’t been to before. You know I thought I’d uncovered almost every nook and cranny of the country doing a 40-date regional tour with Peking Duk last year, but this year the Y.O.G.A. tour is so massive. The amount of dates on there is almost hilarious, but I’m so thrilled and I’m discovering all the parts that I didn’t quite get to see with Duk. Who thought there was anything left?! But there are so many spots that I’m just like, Oof! Go Australia! Turn up!”
