Luke Combs has proven to be a man of many talents, even showing off a comedy streak in a new video.
Starring in a short but sweet cameo alongside popular creators Dude Perfect, Combs showcased typical “dadisms” in the amusing clip that sees him quip, “Go ask your mother”, “I’m not sleeping, I’m just resting my eyes”, and “Don’t make me turn this car around” in the skit.
Combs’ appearance has proven popular with Dude Perfect fans, with viewers commenting, “Luke Combs showing up is crazy!! Best collab ever.” Another fan wrote that his cameo was “insane”, especially following the release of his new surprise album, Fathers & Sons.

Combs premiered the new “dad” song, Plant A Seed, on social media earlier this year. Combs is the father of two boys: Tex Lawrence, born in June 2022, and Beau Lee, born in August 2023.
In a new statement, Combs said of his latest album, “I’ve got two boys under 2, so my life is dominated by the thoughts of being there for them. I want to be their dad first and foremost.”
Acknowledging that Fathers & Sons isn’t necessarily what fans expected from him after Gettin’ Old, he continued: “Being a dad is where life has taken me, and this album is a reflection of that in song form.” Read the complete statement below.
Fathers & Sons was recorded “entirely live” and contains Combs’ most personal songwriting to date. You can check out the early fan reactions to the album here.
