This afternoon, Luke Combs’ wife, Nicole, shared the big news: She gave birth to a baby boy, Beau Lee, on the 15th of August.
Revealing the wonderful news a few weeks later, Nicole took to Instagram and wrote, “8.15.2023 - Beau Lee Combs. Welcome to the world. We couldn’t love you more”. Luke Combs was in Sydney at the time Beau was born.
The caption sits alongside a video containing a Polaroid photo of baby Beau’s feet, a mini beanie, and a pacifier over some bed sheets. The reel is soundtracked by These Are The Days by Cody Asbury.
Beau is the little brother to one-year-old Tex, born on 19 June 2022.
Last month, Nicole hosted a Q&A on her Instagram Stories and was asked what would happen if she went into labour early – would Luke Combs cancel his Australian dates?
“It's around 20 hours to get back from Aus if he got on a plane immediately lol. So no,” Nicole wrote on her Instagram Stories.

She continued, “I'm not due until after he gets back [from Australia], so I'm trying really hard not to go into early labor [sic]. With Tex, I was doing everything in my power to get him out & he was a day early.”
Combs’ first Brisbane show (a doubleheader, same in Melbourne and Sydney) at the Entertainment Centre arrived with a gender reveal, in which the singer was handed a balloon to announce a gender reveal for the first time.
“I’ve never done a balloon one before…I don’t know how the hell I’m gonna pop this thing.” The stage crew scurried behind like ants, frantically searching for something sharp to pop it with. “What do we think – boy or girl? What do you want it to be?” Everyone in the arena saw fit to give their two cents worth, the two words sounding from thousands of mouths combining in a lovely blend of ‘birl’ and ‘goy.’
“You’d be happy with either, right?” Combs asked before popping the balloon with his teeth. Was it a girl or a boy? You can find out here.
Countrytown headed over to that first Brisbane show – also the first concert on Combs’ Australian run – and called the show “magic”. You can check out our review here.
