Luke Combs Becomes First-Time Father, Welcomes Baby Boy

Luke Combs and wife Nicole have welcomed their first child together, a son. Tex Lawrence Combs was born on Father’s Day (US), June 19.

"Welp. he decided that Father's Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and [Nicole] are over the moon in love with this little guy," Combs shared on social media. "Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good."

Nicole also shared the exciting news on Instagram.

“It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day,” she posted. “Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best chillest angel boy and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your [mum]. These are the days.”

Combs commented on his wife’s Instagram post, saying, “You crushed it my love!”

The couple first announced that they were expecting their first child together back in January. The pair revealed they were having a baby boy who was set to make his debut mid-year.

Combs and Nicole started dating in 2016 and got engaged in November 2018 while in Hawaii. They married in August 2020 in front of family at their home in southern Florida.

Combs has written a handful of songs for his wife over the years including Forever After All, Better Together, Nothing Like You and Beautiful Crazy.

Combs will release his new album, Growin’ Up, this Friday. He’s already released a string of songs from the album, including Doin’ This and his latest, The Kind of Love We Make. The album also includes a collaboration with Miranda Lambert on the song Outrunnin’ Your Memory.
