Last week, Luke Combs surprised us all by announcing that his new album, Fathers & Sons, would be released today (14 June).

The announcement came as the highly anticipated single, The Man He Sees In Me, which was teased last week, was officially released.

In the lead-up to the big day, Combs has shared photos and teasers for the songs Plant A Seed, Huntin’ By Yourself, Take Me Out To The Ball Game, and Remember Him That Way. You can listen to all of those teasers below.

With song titles such as Little Country Boys, Whoever You Turn Out To Be, Remember Him That Way, My Old Man Was Right, and Take Me Out To The Ball Game, Combs has released a concept album that explores the indescribable bond between fathers and their sons.

According to a press release, Fathers & Sons was recorded “entirely live” and contains Combs’ most personal songwriting to date.

Earlier this year, Combs premiered the new “dad” songPlant A Seed, on social media. Combs is the father of two boys: Tex Lawrence, born in June 2022, and Beau Lee, born in August 2023.

Father & Sons has already been released in some parts of the world, including the UK, Australia and New Zealand. You can check out some early reactions to the album below.
