Casey Barnes has leaned into his country rock side with the newly released single, Buy That Girl A Beer.

The journey of his latest track began in Nashville. Co-written with Jimmy Thow and Andy Skib – the latter known for collaborations with Keith Urban, Mickey Guyton, Hunter Hayes, and more – Barnes and co. deliver a stadium-ready, country rock anthem with a massive chorus fans won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

Barnes’ first new single since releasing his chart-topping, award-winning fifth album, Mayday, last year, he’s taken the momentum and critical acclaim of the album and used it to excel. With Buy That Girl A Beer, Barnes is ready to take his music further than it’s ever been—including on an international scale.

In addition to dropping a new single today, Barnes and Michael Chugg have announced that the singer-songwriter has found new US representation, primed for launching into the Nashville scene.

Barry Coburn, one of Nashville’s most renowned music industry executives, will now represent Barnes in the US. Coburn has an impressive resume behind him that includes managing Alan Jackson, guiding Keith Urban on publishing, and serving as CEO/President of Atlantic Records Nashville. Congratulations to Casey!

On Buy That Girl A Beer, Barnes said, “Buy That Girl A Beer isn’t just about making a move at the bar, it’s about taking a shot in life. Whether it’s love, a dream, or an opportunity, you’ll never know what could happen unless you go for it.

“This song is that reminder to step up, take the risk, and see where it leads. We also leaned into that country-rock energy to make sure it hits hard, and I can’t wait for people to turn this one up loud.”

Since the release of Mayday, Barnes has been busy: he’s gone on a national tour, played at Ridin’ Hearts, Over Yonder Festival, and Tamworth Country Music Festival, will perform at the Woodstock Farm Presents: Legends Of Country festival this month, and is heading to Nashville in June for the renowned CMA Fest.
