Sydney-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and violinist, Bonnie Kellett recently dropped her latest single Lost And Found. We included in it our New Music Wrap Up this week, but we’re not done with it yet. Today, we bring you the accompanying music video in this exclusive premiere.

Lost And Found is the second single from Bonnie's soon to be released debut album, Hidden Spirit. It follows her debut single, Boots, which reached #2 on the iTunes Country Music Charts and #32 on all genres. We also included the banger as our Song of the Day back in February.

Produced by Govinda Doyle, Bonnie wrote the country pop anthem after she’d quit her day job, packed up her life and decided to take up music full time. Lost And Found is described as “a good vibes kind of song”, about taking a leap of faith, leaving the past behind, and starting again.

Bonnie says, “The vocals and instruments were recorded in an old water tank Govinda had converted into a recording booth, with certain rocks placed specifically to get incredible acoustics.”

The music video was shot on location at Garage Studios West Gosford and Forresters Beach on the Central Coast by Jake Davey Studios. The music video shows Bonnie and her band's instruments covered by ‘Danger’ and ‘Caution’ tape, while her pedal board has ‘Do Not Use’ written across it, to signify all the naysayers who will tell you to give up on your dreams.

Bonnie adds, “The beach scenes represent the freedom felt when you let go and let life be an exciting adventure.”

Growing up with a musical family in Willunga (a small country town an hour south of Adelaide, Bonnie was brought up on folk festivals and jam nights. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music and an Advanced Diploma, she has performed alongside artists like Jon English, Kasey Chambers and Lee Kernaghan as well as in Nashville.

Bonnie was also a Groundwater’s KIX Start competition finalist in 2021.

Particularly inspired by singer-songwriters Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain and Amy Shark, Bonnie’s lyrics are raw and authentic with a pinch of attitude and wit. With skills in looping, Bonnie also draws creativity from musicians such as Ed Sheeran to incorporate her violin into her live solo performances.

With an endorsement from QSC, Bonnie has performed her originals as part of their online Touchmix Sessions. She has also performed looping videos for Boss/Roland Australia and in 2021 performed her original song, Dancing Barefoot, live on Channel 7’s Sunrise.
