Tyler Hubbard Joins Jam-Packed Bill For Savannah In The Round 2024

Coinciding with the news of his debut Australian headline tour, Tyler Hubbard has announced he’s joining the lineup for this year’s epic Savannah In The Round festival.

He joins a bill stacked with some of the biggest and best names in modern country music, with the festival also sporting sets from the likes of Kip Moore, Lee Kernaghan, Sheppard, James Johnston, Troy Cassar-Daley and The Wolfe Brothers (as announced last month). Hubbard will also bump shoulders with iconic rock acts like The Living End, Hoodoo Gurus and Jon Stevens.

In a press release, Hubbard said of his addition to the festival: “I couldn't be more excited to bring my show to Savannah In The Round this October, especially in the stunning setting of Tropical North Queensland. Australia's natural beauty never fails to inspire, and I’m ready to lose myself in the music amidst the wonders of Mareeba, where the spirit of country meets the magic of the outback.”

It comes after Hubbard made his Australian debut back in March of this year, performing exclusively at CMC Rocks. Alongside his appearance at Savannah In The Round (slated for Friday October 11) and his aforementioned headline shows, the Georgia-born stalwart will also perform at this year’s Deni Ute Muster and Over Yonder Country Music Festival.

This year’s Savannah In The Round will run over the long weekend of October 11-13 at the Mareeba Rodeo Arena in the Cairns Hinterland. Tickets are on sale now �� head here to grab yours.

Hubbard released his second solo album, Strong, just over a month ago (on April 12, to be exact). In an exclusive interview with Countrytown, he said of how the new LP came together: “I love to write songs and I write a lot every year, so it was nice to be able to pull from the pile and say, ‘Yeah, let’s go ahead and put out another album and continue to kinda feed the fans.’ It seemed like they were wantin’ more, so we were able to do that.

“I like the pace of an album a year – I don’t know if I’ll do it every year, but it feels nice right now, and you know, it’s a pace I think I could sustain, at least for a little while. Keep the fans [happy]... give ‘em what they want.”
