Tyler Hubbard has announced his first-ever run of headline shows across Australian soil, slating three epic gigs on the itinerary for this October.
Following his hotly anticipated set at this year’s Deni Ute Muster – where Hubbard will co-headline with Amy Shark and Kip Moore – the Georgia-native bombshell will deliver a feature-length performance at The Forum in Melbourne (Naarm) on Sunday October 6. He’ll dart up to Sydney next, playing the Enmore Theatre on the following Wednesday (October 9), before heading over to Mareeba for this year’s Savannah In The Round (his appearance at which was also announced today) on Friday October 11.
Hubbard will cap off his festival run in Sandstone Point with a set at the Over Yonder Country Music Festival (slated for Saturday October 12), before wrapping up the tour with one last headline show, taking over the Star Theatre on the Gold Coast on Sunday October 13.
Tickets for all three of the headline shows go on sale at 10am AEST next Monday (May 20), following a presale for TEG Live members that kicks off at the same time this Friday (May 17). Head here to sign up for it, or bookmark this link for the general sale.
The tour comes in support of Hubbard’s career-defining second solo album, Strong, which arrived last month to widespread critical acclaim. In an exclusive interview with Countrytown, he said of how the new LP came together: “I love to write songs and I write a lot every year, so it was nice to be able to pull from the pile and say, ‘Yeah, let’s go ahead and put out another album and continue to kinda feed the fans.’ It seemed like they were wantin’ more, so we were able to do that.

“I like the pace of an album a year – I don’t know if I’ll do it every year, but it feels nice right now, and you know, it’s a pace I think I could sustain, at least for a little while. Keep the fans [happy]... give ‘em what they want.”
Hubbard gave us a taste of what to expect from his new live show back in March, when he performed exclusively at this year’s CMC Rocks festival. That gig also marked his first time ever playing to fans Down Under, so we’re expecting tickets to these headline shows to fly out the gates.
