Prepare to experience country music in a venue like no other at Kryal Castle. The medieval-inspired attraction will provide an exciting new backdrop for some of the biggest names in Australian country music, including The Wolfe Brothers, Casey Barnes and more.
On Sunday, 26 November, headliners The Wolfe Brothers and big-time star Casey Barnes will be accompanied by Andrew Swift, Taylor Moss and Max Jackson. Tickets to the once-in-a-lifetime event at Gold Country Music Festival go on sale on Tuesday, 24 October, at 9 am AEDT – sign up here for more ticketing information.
“Bringing you the crème de la crème of Australian country music in one massive show on Sun 26th November! Playing all their award-winning massive country hits you know & love,” venue promoter Live At The Castle wrote on Facebook.
Gold Country Music Festival begins at 6 pm on 26 November. Punters need to make their way to 21 Forbes Rd, Leigh Creek VIC 3352, just outside Ballarat, to enter the castle.
As well as their appearances at Gold Country Music Festival, The Wolfe Brothers and Casey Barnes are performing at the massive (and free) Groundwater Country Music Festival this weekend.
Barnes has a stacked catalogue to pore over, with four studio albums – the most recent being last year’s ARIA-winning Light It Up – and a handful of standalone singles. Thus far in 2023, he’s released three of those one-off jams, including Summer Nights in February, Boys Like Me in May, and Never Give Up On A Good Time in September.

Meanwhile, The Wolfe Brothers have a whopping six studio albums to explore. They also have the current #1 on the Countrytown Hot 50 with their Travis Collins collab Runnin’ The Country, which seems downright undefeatable.
Earlier this year, Andrew Swift released his latest album, Lightning Strikes & Neon Nights, and offered Countrytown an exclusive track-by-track breakdown of each song. You can check that out here.
Last month, Taylor Moss released her debut EP, The Heartland EP, and circumvented traditional release by avoiding sending her songs to radio stations. She’s currently journeying through Australia on her Country Proud tour – you can find more details about that run here.
A few weeks ago, Max Jackson signed with ABC Music after recently teaming up with Stephen White Management. Today, she released her new single, Little More Country, which you can listen to below.
