Taylor Moss Announces 'Country Proud' Australian Tour

A few months after releasing Country Proud Candles in support of her recently released album of the same name, Taylor Moss has announced that she’s taking the record on the road.

Beginning on Thursday, 5 and Friday, 6 October, Moss performs at Savannah In The Round music festival in Mareeba, Queensland, before travelling to Melbourne, Murgon (QLD), Campbelltown (NSW), Noojee (VIC), South Morang (VIC), and ends the Country Proud tour with two Queensland shows – one in Bundaberg and another in Maroochydore in early December.

“COUNTRY PROUD TOUR. I’m finally doing it, my own headline dates,” Moss posted on social media this morning (15 September). “I’m excited, I’m nervous and I’m bloody keen to play some of these beautiful venues with special guests. Grab a ticket, bring a mate & let’s be country proud together!!!”

Released in April, Country Proud peaked at #3 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Airplay Chart. For the album, Moss reunited with the hit-making duo MSquared (Michael Delorenzis and Michael Paynter).

She said about the underlying themes behind Country Proud (the song and album), “The lyrics paint a vivid picture of the red dirt roads, sprawling fields, and close-knit communities that define rural living.
