The Wolfe Brothers Lead Second Groundwater Country Music Festival Artist Announcement

We don’t have long until the 2023 Groundwater Country Music Festival touches down on the Gold Coast – the event takes place from 20-22 October – and today, festival organisers have unveiled a stunning second artist announcement led by none other than The Wolfe Brothers.

Blowing your boots off with its second announcement, joining the already announced Lee Kernaghan, Casey Barnes, US country star Jackson Dean and Amber Lawrence, among others, are The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey & Beccy Cole, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Melissa Carper, Tori Forsyth, the birthday boy Matt Cornell, recent KIX Country Centre Stage star Chloe Styler, Billie-Jo Porter, The Weeping Willows, BIGSOUND artist Vixens Of Fall, and many more.

Festival Director Mark Duckworth said that organisers are “determined” to put on a party the festival’s fans wouldn’t forget anytime soon with its 2023 run – also its tenth anniversary, adding that “Not only will we be bringing back some of our festival favourites from over the years but also seeing some new faces on our Broadbeach stages.

Two weeks ago, it was revealed that headliners Kernaghan and Barnes have joined the panel of judges for this year’s KIX-Start program. The KIX-Start winner will win $30,000 worth of music industry expert tools.

The winner will perform at this year’s Groundwater Country Music Festival, open for Kernaghan on his next national headline tour, be the recipient of an exclusive, one-on-one songwriting masterclass with Phil Barton, record a single with Rod McCormack at Music Cellar Studios, win a PR package from Varrasso PR, mentoring from Casey Barnes, a promotion and distribution deal from Play MPE, radio support from KIX Country, a live touring workshop with Dan Biddle and Wheelhouse Agency, and more.
