Rural and regional country fans who just experienced the fun of Texas Country Music Festival can rejoice, as the festival has just announced its return for 2025.

While it may sound like it’s alluding to the proud southern state in the U.S, this country festival is held in Australia’s Texas, located at the border of New South Wales and Queensland and a four hour drive from Brisbane.

Held for several years now, the festival boasts four days of traditional and contemporary country music, alongside bush poetry.

The organisers posted the news of the festivals renewal for another year, urging fans to “Get ready for another unforgettable weekend of incredible live music, fun activities for all ages, and the best festival vibes!”

While the lineup has not been dropped for 2025 just yet, camping dates have been confirmed from 24th-28th September 2025, with the festival running from 25th-27th.
