Taylor Swift has dropped the full 27 track-list of her upcoming Fearless (Taylor’s Version) re-release, including two she recorded with former tour mate, Keith Urban. The Love Story singer posted a cryptic video message on Twitter and challenged fans to decode the anagrams that popped out of a gold vault. Fans were quick to figure out the clues, unscrambling the song titles We Were Happy, Don’t You, Mr. Perfectly Fine, Bye Bye Baby, and That’s When.
You cracked the codes and guessed all the From The Vault titles. 👏👏👏 Here’s the full track list, my friends. pic.twitter.com/lC3awlRmm2

She added, “I'm really honoured that @KeithUrban is a part of this project, duetting on That's When and singing harmonies on We Were Happy. I was his opening act during the Fearless album era and his music has inspired me endlessly. I'm counting down the minutes til we can all jump into this brave world together, filled with equal parts nostalgia and brand newness. Head first, Fearless ?."
Urban responded, tweeting, “[her producers] @jackantonoff and @aaron_dessner asked if I’d join their band and I said hell yes!! They said you’re gonna love our lead singer - she’s fearless ? We got to sing together and were so happy, and I said that’s magic when stars align like that !!!!!”
Swift first announced her intention to re-record her first six albums – released between 2006 and 2017 – in 2019 in an attempt to own the masters to her original music amid her ongoing battle with Scooter Braun. She began re-recording her back catalogue last November.
She says, “I’ve spoken a lot about why I’m remaking my first six albums, but the way I’ve chosen to do this will hopefully illuminate where I’m coming from. Artists should own their own work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really knows that body of work. For example, only I know which songs I wrote that almost made the Fearless album. Songs I absolutely adored, but were held back for different reasons (don’t want too many breakup songs, don’t want too many down tempo songs, can’t fit that many songs on a physical CD).”
She has already released two tracks – a reworked Love Story and a previously unheard collaboration with Maren Morris called You All Over Me. The album will also feature American singer-songwriter, Colbie Caillat on Breathe.
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is out April 9.
