Australian rising country music star Sara Berki is taking her career to the next level, today announcing her signing to Warner Music Australia.
Berki’s signing follows the release of her latest single, twice. On Wednesday (16 October), Berki will share the live debut of twice as part of Warner Music’s showcase event at SXSW Sydney.
The singer-songwriter joins Warner after an impressive year that’s seen her cover Lainey Wilson’s Out Of Oklahoma for the Twisters Soundtrack Brisbane Showcase, opening for Dasha’s fan show in Sydney, and going viral with her cover of John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads, which was recorded at the Brisbane vs Carlton AFL match at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane earlier this year.
At Warner, Berki joins an incredible roster of country artists that includes James Johnston, Morgan Evans, Zach Bryan, Ashley McBryde, and more.
Of her signing to Warner, Berki said, “I am incredibly excited to be working with the Warner Music team to take my music to the world.

“From the very first meeting through to all the creative discussions we’ve had over the last few months, I have felt completely supported every step of the way. It truly feels like a family, and I am beyond grateful that they believe in me and my music.”
Warner Music Australasia President Dan Rosen added, “We are so excited to welcome Sara Berki into the Warner Music Australia family. Like so many around the country, Sara’s captivating voice and magnetic stage presence captured our attention from the start. We can’t wait to work with Sara and take her music to a growing fan base both at home and around the world.”
On the release of twice, which was co-written and co-produced by Liam Quinn, Berki commented, “It was such a blast creating this one. I pictured myself after a breakup, hitting the road and checking into a cheap motel. It’s part escape and part joy for getting out of a relationship with the wrong person. We wanted it to be fun, imaginative and super catchy, and I think it’s exactly that!”
