A random book with the placeholder title of 4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023 has become a bestseller on Amazon (rising to #2 in the Most Popular section of its book category) and Barnes & Noble’s “Coming Soon” section, as Taylor Swift fans on the internet are convinced that it’s the pop superstar’s debut memoir.

The speculation that’s led to fans believing it’s Swift’s book comes stems from Taylor Swift lore. According to the minimal information about the placeholder book, it contains 544 pages and 5 + 4 + 4 = 13, Taylor Swift’s lucky number.

The current release date is 9 July, which for Swift fans, is significant as she sings on the Speak Now song, Last Kiss, “That July 9th, the beat of your heart”.

4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023 will have its author revealed in July. Flatiron Books, an imprint of Macmillan Books, has insisted that the book isn’t Swift’s and that’s “for certain” in a statement to Variety.

Britney Spears is releasing a memoir that’s recently been delayed due to “a lot of nervous A-listers,” according to a source at The Sun.

The source also said, “Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written.”

Spears’s book was due for release in February, but the memoir has been pushed back until the end of the year. “Britney is brutally honest in the book,” the source told The Sun. They added, “There is no movement at the moment and there are concerns over when it will eventually be able to come out.”

Could the mystery book belong to Britney? All anyone knows is that, according to a deleted social media post, it belongs to an A-list star.

Over the weekend, Swift revealed the date for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) – Friday, 7 July.

Sharing the news with the audience while on stage in Nashville, she proclaimed, "If you can direct your attention to that screen back there,” that flashed the release date on the screen. Pre-orders are currently live on the Taylor Swift Australian store.

In an Instagram post, Swift revealed that the album would contain six previously unreleased tracks. It also includes collectible album sleeves and never-before-seen photos. The exact track listing is yet to be revealed.

"I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it."
