Queensland Music Trails has majorly impressed with its 2024 Outback Trail program, locking in rock, country and indie favourites Paul Dempsey, Troy Cassar-Daley, Ball Park Music and Tori Forsyth.

In addition to the already mentioned names, the Outback Trail will host country stars Travis Collins, Loren Ryan and Taylor Moss, renowned artist Lloyd Saunders, the energetic Smashing Bumpkins, Pierce Brothers, Mitch King, Maddy Thomas, storyteller Robyn Russel, and celebrity chef Mark Olive.

The Outback Trail runs for nine days (Saturday, 13 April – Sunday, 21 April), bringing live music to the rugged heart of Queensland.

The shows will take place in iconic outback venues, events and operators in Goondiwindi, Thallon’s Nindigully Pub, Charlotte Plains Station, Quilpie’s The Lake, Tambo Town Hall, Charleville’s Showgrounds (for the headline event, Outback Sounds), and Roma’s Western Spirit Distillery.

Headline event Outback Sounds is coming for its inaugural celebration of live music, arts, food and community, making it the pinnacle event of the Outback Trail. Queensland Music Trails organisers noted that the 48-hour pre-sale tickets sold fast – keep an eye on the website and social media profiles to find out when additional tickets will be made available.
