Morgan Wallen’s new album, I’m The Problem, released last week (16 May), has topped different charts in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Topping the charts in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia, it won’t be long before the new album sees global domination.
Wallen is now the first male country artist to have an album debut at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart since Keith Urban released Ripcord in 2016. He’s achieved the feat twice: with One Thing At A Time in 2023, and once again with I’m The Problem.
In addition to topping the Albums and Vinyl Charts in Australia, singles from the 37-track album have made their way up the Singles Charts.
What I Want featuring Tate McRae has debuted at #17 on the Singles Chart (and #5 on the New Music Singles roundup), while the title track has moved from #65 to #34 on the Singles Chart (#8 on the New Music Singles chart). Meanwhile, Just In Case is at #45, Love Somebody is at #59, and Superman is at #60 on the Singles Chart.
I’m The Problem isn’t only making waves on the ARIA Charts—Wallen’s new album is having an impact on country radio in Australia.

I Ain’t Coming Back featuring Post Malone is at #12 on Australian country radio, followed by What I Want featuring Tate McRae at #20. Wallen currently has 23 songs in the Top 500 AU Country Radio Chart.
Wallen has seen steady growth in Australia. His debut album, If I Know Me, debuted at #53 on the ARIA Albums Chart. His next album, Dangerous: The Double Album, made huge moves, landing at #2, and One Thing At A Time at #1, spending two weeks in the top spot.
The release of I’m The Problem and its rise to #1 follow Universal Music Australia teasing a 2026 Australian tour for the country music superstar.
Earlier this month, the label revealed that if fans ordered Wallen’s new album, I’m The Problem, from their website, they’d receive exclusive access to a pre-sale code for his upcoming, and still officially unannounced, 2026 Australian tour.
While official dates and cities have not been confirmed, this is the first clear sign that Wallen is plotting a massive return Down Under.
The Instagram caption read: “@morganwallen’s new album ‘I’m The Problem’ is out now. Order now to receive an exclusive ticket pre-sale access code for the forthcoming and yet to be announced 😉 2026 Australian live dates. Link in bio 🌟💛⭐️”.
We suspect his next Australian tour will be his biggest yet.
