Fans are still unhappy with Miranda Lambert following a recent fiasco that involved fans taking selfies at a recent concert.
In case you missed it: the US country music star was in the middle of performing the intimate track Tin Man, from her 2016 album The Weight Of These Wings when she halted the performance and called out two fans taking selfies during her Las Vegas residency concert.
“I’m gonna stop right here for a second; I’m sorry,” she said, per a TikTok video below. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit.”
After telling the audience she didn’t like that behaviour “at all,” Lambert continued, “We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

While some fans weren’t fazed by Lambert’s reaction and said they “would’ve done the same thing,” others were upset by the “public shaming” that took place.
Making matters worse, Lambert has posted a new selfie to Instagram, wearing a t-shirt that encouraged pet owners to get their beloved furry family members spayed and neutered.
After watching the recent footage, the Instagram post arrived when fans were awaiting an apology. One fan wrote, per Page Six, “Unfollowing for the way you disrespect and humiliate your fans. It takes balls not to apologize or see a problem with your actions,” referencing Lambert’s t-shirt, which reads, “It takes balls to spay and neuter your pets”.
Another commenter called Lambert’s recent actions “narcissistic” as a fan said, “I’m shocked your PR team hasn’t been all over this…unless this is a PR stunt just to get you in the news. You want to come off like a boss bitch but you came of [sic] not as a boss. Being a strong, take no shit woman doesn’t include being rude and humiliating people, especially the people who made you famous and wealthy”.
In April 2022, Miranda Lambert released her ninth album, Palomino, which landed at #5 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart. Earlier this year, she departed Sony Music Nashville after a 19-year partnership.
