Australian country music singer-songwriter Melanie Dyer is set to make even more waves after signing a new management deal with Footstomp Music and Kadence Group.
By signing the management deal, Dyer has joined an impressive roster that boasts the likes of Busby Marou and Tia Gostelow. Today’s announcement follows Dyer’s outstanding performances at CMC Rocks and the upcoming release of the new single, Had To Be There. Soon, she’ll return to Nashville.
Dyer said about the signing announcement, “I am really excited to begin this next chapter with Asho [Graham Ashton] & Kristy [Gostelow]. They have a wealth of experience in the music industry, but more importantly, they understand the need for an artist to enjoy a successful long-term career. I feel like I've finally found my people!”
In a press release, Footstop Music’s Graham Ashton commented, “Mel is undeniably the real deal. The Footstomp team couldn't be happier to join her team in a co-management capacity. Mel has built an incredible career, and we are grateful to be on board to help her take it to the next level, which is limitless.”
Kristy Gostelow of Kadence Group added, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with Mel. She’s an incredible songwriter and performer who has worked incredibly hard in establishing herself in the Australian Country Music market, and I’m thrilled to join the team and support Mel in her path to further success and recognition within the industry both here at home and internationally.”
In addition to writing her own music, Dyer has written songs alongside Morgan Evans, James Johnston, Zachary Kale (Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Gabby Barrett), Reid Isbell, and Konstantin Kersting (Tones And I, Mallrat).
