Luke Combs Covers Jordan Davis’ Smash Hit ‘Buy Dirt’

Luke Combs took to social media to share a video of himself covering Jordan Davis’ hit, Buy Dirt, a duet that originally features Luke Bryan.

Davis commented on the clip saying, “Damn, I thought I sang this one pretty good… You crushed this buddy, thank ya!”

Several fans took to the comments of the post predicting that Davis will join Combs on a tour in the near future. The North Carolina native is known to tease tour announcements by covering the supporting acts’ songs on social media ahead of unveiling information about the tour.

He previously announced his stadium tour with Cody Johnson, Zach Bryan and Morgan Wade, with each of the artists covering one another’s songs on social media.

Davis then returned the favour, by performing one of his favourite Combs songs titled Doin This, adding more speculation.

Buy Dirt was released in 2021 from Davis’ second EP of the same name. He explained on Today’s Country Radio, “Buy Dirt to me is about faith, family and friends, and really finding your happiness.” The song peaked at #12 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart.

Combs will drop his third studio album, Growin’ Up on June 24.
