Lauren Alaina is engaged! The 28-year-old revealed the big news during a performance at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, November 19.
She wrote on social media, “BRIDE be dang’d, y’all. My best friend asked me to marry him, and I announced it at my favourite place in the world, [Grand Ole Opry]. I didn’t know happiness and excitement like this existed. I can’t wait to be Mrs. Cameron Scott Arnold.”

Alaina told PEOPLE exclusively of her engagement to the 34-year-old insurance businessman.
"It was a night I will never forget. I got to celebrate the best year of my life. I became a member of the Opry family in February, so I thought they should be the first to know I had been asked to be in another family as well," shared Alaina.
"This is the first time I'm showing Cameron to the world. He has and will continue to be a sacred piece of my life. He keeps me grounded and gives me a piece of a normal everyday life that I didn't have before him. We have been together for two and a half years, and we are just getting started… I'm so excited for everyone to know who he and we are. The best is still to come."
During an appearance on Audacy’s Rob + Holly Show in February, Alaina revealed that she’d been in a relationship for a year and a half with someone she described as “tall and handsome.”
“I’ve just never posted about him or anything because he’s just mine,” she said at the time. “He’s just a regular guy. He’s a business guy, goes to work every day in a suit. He’s a normal guy, he’s from Georgia, I’m from Georgia and Jon Pardi likes him!”
Alaina was previously engaged to high school boyfriend Alex Hopkins in July 2018. The couple called off their nuptial plans in January 2019 and four months later the American Idol alum moved on with comedian John Crist. They split in September 2019.
Earlier this year, Alaina signed with Big Loud Records following her departure from Universal Music Group Nashville after nearly 11 years. During her time with the label, she released two EPs (Getting Good (2020) and Getting Over Him (2020)), as well as three albums, Wildflower (2011), Road Less Traveled (2017), and Sitting Pretty On Top of the World (2021).
As well as her music, Alaina starred in two TV movies Roadhouse Romance (2021) and Road Less Traveled (2017) and has appeared on a variety of TV shows, including American Idol, Dancing With The Stars and new reality series Beyond The Edge. In 2021, she also released her inspirational book, Getting Good At Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be.
