In a recent social media video, Jason Aldean attempts a makeup tutorial on his wife influencer, Brittany Aldean – without ever looking at her face – to hilarious results.
In the video, Brittany puts her hands behind her back, while Aldean sits behind her, threading his arms through the sleeve of her dressing gown. Having only his wife’s direction to go on, Aldean then proceeds to put Brittany’s hair in a ponytail and apply powder, blush, eye shadow and lipstick.
The final look is something to behold with Aldean applying powder, blush and eye shadow to most of her face, and a good majority of lipstick sits under her chin.
“It’s called creativity,” Brittany laughs.

“The makeup look, you didn’t know you needed,” Brittany captioned. In the video, she wears an ‘Insurrection Barbie’ t-shirt, which is a throwback to the response by Maren Morris when Brittany made headlines back in August 2022 for comments that others deemed transphobic.

On August 24, Brittany shared an Instagram video of herself putting on makeup to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Upgrade U. In the caption, Brittany wrote, “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life.”
Country singer RaeLynn, as well as the wives of country singers Jon Pardi, Shay Mooney and Granger Smith were among those to leave comments showing support on Brittany’s posts. While Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris slammed Brittany’s comments.
Morris tweeted, “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”
Brittany addressed Pope and Morris on her Instagram story, sharing several frames responding to their comments directly.
"Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care,’ is one of the worst evils. I will always support my children and do what I can do protect their innocence. The other day Memphis wanted to be a dinosaur and tomorrow Navy will want to be a cat,” Brittany said, referring to her two children. “They’re children. Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly, that they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions.”
She added, “Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions. Thankful my parents allowed me to go through my tom boy phase without changing my gender. Until then, leave children alone!”
Brittany also shared a message for "Maren," whom she referred to as "Karen Morris" before thanking her for calling her Barbie.
Ryan Hurd, Rissi Palmer, Meghan Linsey, Brandi Carlile, Mickey Guyton, Lindsay Ell, Sam Palladio and more later rallied around Pope and Morris.
Aldean and Brittany were linked as far back as 2012, following controversy of Aldean admitting to having “acted inappropriately at a bar” with the former American Idol contestant while still being married to Jessica Ann Ussery at the time.
Following his divorce, Aldean and Brittany began dating and made their first public appearance in 2014, marrying the following year. Together they have two children – Memphis and Navy. Aldean also shares two other children with his ex-wife.
