Max Jackson’s Little More Country series is back, with the Fixin’ Things singer putting her own spin on Metallica’s Enter Sandman.
Introducing her mini cover for all the “rockers” out there, the video follows Jackson and her trusty acoustic guitar in the middle of a field.
She slows down the heavy metal classic and brings a haunting energy to the track, her warm vocals a stark contrast to James Hetfield’s more aggressive performance. We need to hear a full Max Jackson version of Enter Sandman sooner rather than later.
Her Enter Sandman Little More Country cover has received praise from fans, with singer Matt Cornell leaving hands-raised emojis and people writing, “Omg I need this in my playlist”, “Oh wow. This is awesome 👏 they all have been but this one is enchanting”, and “Ooohhh this version feels almost haunting - I really like this, way different than I have ever heard this song before👏🏻”. Another fan requested Jackson cover Van Halen’s Jump next.

Little More Country ended up at #1 on the Countrytown National Airplay Charts for two consecutive weeks. In addition to that success, Little More Country went on to be played on Garth Brooks’ radio station, The Big 615. You can watch her reaction to that moment here.
In November, Jackson was named an ambassador for the 52nd Tamworth Country Music Festival, which happened last month. The achievement followed other milestones she experienced last year, including signing with ABC Music and teaming up with Stephen White Management.
