The 2024 Golden Guitar Awards will take place from 7:30 pm next Saturday, 27 January, at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.

As we rapidly approach the 52nd Golden Guitar Awards, organisers have announced the performers and presenters for the big night just a week out from the event.
Taking place from 7:30 pm next Saturday, 27 January, at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre, the top-nominated artists for this year’s awards – Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham, Travis Collins, multi-Golden Guitar and ARIA award winners The Wolfe Brothers and 2023 New Talent of the Year James Johnston (who will team up with 2024 Golden Guitar nominees Zac & George to sing their track Some Things Never Change) – will perform on the night.
The artists mentioned above will be joined by fellow nominees Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, eight-time Golden Guitar and ARIA winner Fanny Lumsden, and Australia’s most decorated country music artist, Troy Cassar-Daley, who will perform a new song for the first time.
Meanwhile, multi-award-winning artist Luke O’Shea will pay tribute to the late Joy McKean, recipient of the first Golden Guitar Award in 1973. 2023 Golden Guitar Award nominee and 2022 Toyota Star Maker Max Jackson, Australian singer-songwriter Allan Caswell, SToReR, and The Pleasures will also take to the stage with their nominated songs.
The list of presenters is near-endless, starring Beccy Cole, John Williamson and Troy Cassar-Daley, Roll of Renown inductee Anne Kirkpatrick, eight-time Golden Guitar winner Adam Harvey, and multi-award-winning artists Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, Amber Lawrence, Sara Storer, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Henry Wagons, Kristy Cox and Pete Denahy.
Additional award presenters include The Hon. Mr John Graham, MLC, Minister for the Arts, Music and Tourism, and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee and radio host Ray Hadley. Sam McClymont will host the Red Carpet and present two awards with multi-award-winning artist Graeme Connors. The award night will be hosted by Tania Kernaghan and Jason Owen.

In addition to the performers and presenters announcement, the 2024 Golden Guitar Awards’ Roll of Renown will be announced and presented by Toyota Star Maker Coordinator and Managing Editor of Tamworth Country Music Capital News Cheryl Brown with Americana artist Lachlan Bryan.
Toyota 52nd Golden Guitar Awards, Executive Producer Peter Ross said about the Australasian country music night of nights: “For over 50 years, the Golden Guitar Awards has honoured the finest in Australasian country music.
